Sici Chong

In 2021, Sici who initially shared her cooking and life experiences exclusively on her blog embarked on the journey of entrepreneurship by opening an online lifestyle store, with the support and encouragement of her husband, Kay. Originally, she hoped to share one of her beloved products, Young Living KidScents Toothpaste, through her online store. However, she learnt from Joanne and Gretchen, her team's two Royal Crown Diamond leaders, that selling Young Living products online without approval was not permitted. Although a bit disappointed, this led her to gain comprehensive understanding of Young Living, and she then decided to give it her all to build this business, as it would provide her the opportunity to help more people. Sici also publicly announced her decision on her blog, venturing into this extraordinary journey with a genuine passion.

Not only does Sici has a passion for sharing, but she also sets high expectations for herself. From the very beginning, she has already been eager to ask and learn everything about product knowledge and skills to assist her team from her mentors, Joanne and Gretchen. At the same time, Sici’s consistent learning, sharing and follow-up nurtured her team to thrive. She herself also won multiple incentive programs of the company, as well as becoming the top enroller for two consecutive years.

In just two years, Sici achieved the rank of Diamond. Along her journey, she encountered various challenges, and the greatest one was while she was longing for a like-minded partner to build Young Living business, she felt it's hard to find a companion, thus was discouraged and doubted herself. Encouraged by Joanne and Gretchen, Sici later attended the APAC Convention held in Singapore in March 2023, hoping to share knowledge gained with her team. Before the Convention, she was invited to participate in the Strategy Council Meeting as representative of Hong Kong. Sharing from speakers and workshops at the Meeting inspired Sici so much - she realized that by being a leader, it’s not solely about how outstanding her achievement is, but rather about empowering others with opportunities, capabilities and hope. By dedicating to growing Young Living business, Sici could also make a positive change to society with financial abundance.

After returning to Hong Kong, Sici made the decision to start anew, engaging in open and honest conversations with her team. She wholeheartedly committed herself to helping each member pursue their individual paths to success. Sici actively supported her team in sharing their experiences, defining goals, creating actionable plans and organizing workshops. Her team gradually felt their own transformation and the joy of sharing, understanding the true meaning of this business.

At that time, Sici had not yet considered becoming a Diamond leader. It was Joanne and Gretchen who noticed a change in her mindset after the APAC Convention and encouraged her to go for it. Sici then took it to action from May to set her sights on the path to Diamond. Throughout the entire June, Sici devoted herself to helping team members by organizing workshops and providing daily online and offline education, follow-ups, and sharing sessions. Under Sici's guidance, her team made remarkable achievements with over a hundred of members achieving new ranks in June. The leader Sici herself achieved the prestigious Diamond rank in mid-June, marking an impressive accomplishment.

To Sici, the role of a Diamond leader is to become the team's lighthouse, someone her team members can lean on, and a spiritual leader who leads everyone to take actions and make progress, embracing the endeavors of motivating more people to start a journey of enhancing their well-being and transforming their lives. Sici expresses her heartfelt gratitude to her husband, family and friends, as well as her team. She genuinely appreciates the invaluable guidance and support from Gretchen and Joanne, along with assistance from the company, all of these have played a pivotal role in shaping her into a radiant diamond!
